Poem of the day..... Death is not the end It is only the beginning to be born again A chance to live a life better than the last To say to God please keep me this time I have lived the life you taught me to live I am now worthy to live in your arms
Who Am I...
My journey to arrive at this point in my life has been fraught with difficulty and strife. Being a single parent has taught me that I have a strength in me I did not recognise until I found myself alone with a three year old. I am a mother, a friend and a woman but that is not all I am. I have lived a life of plentiful and one day found myself with nothing.
I am one voice but a powerful voice. I have faults and desires that cannot be corrected and fulfilled unless I choose to do so. I have discovered I am what I choose to be and not what others think I should be.
I ran a successful business for some years and had a husband who is now my best friend but no longer the man I fell in love with. Through hardship, disappointment and life’s everyday struggles, I have discovered me. I have learnt to balance my life of being a mother, a woman, a friend and a breadwinner.
My articles are drawn on true life everyday experiences, events and they express my views. My aims are to make you beautiful people realise, you are beautiful and you choose who you wish to be and this can only be determined by you.
My voice allows you to recognise your true feelings about many given situations and feelings that you wish you did not have, or will not admit you have. By being emotionally honest, I found myself feeling free and no longer tied to decisions made.
I have attempted to introduce life lessons that can be learned, adapted and indeed changed, should you wish to. I am not your teacher, I am your friend and what is good for me may not be necessarily good for you. I am not you.
I cannot teach you how to be a better you; I don’t know what will make you be what you choose to be. We are all different. By being honest with myself I have changed the way I behave and my outlook on life has enriched who I am.
I am not here to tell you what is right or wrong. What you are, makes you who you are, and you need to decide if that is what you want to be or be more than you think you are.
I have been given free will and that dictates my choices.
I have written numerous articles about everyday experiences whether good or bad and provide conclusions on how I chose to be.
